     The Shrine of the Goddess Athena began to be built
    at the Artisans Festival (Chalkeia Festival),
    October 30, 1997
    as a "peplos" to be offered to the Goddess Athena,
    and was inaugurated at the Panathenaea Festival,
    July 22, 1998
    as a birthday present to the Goddess.
